all you need is love

well, it's monday again. i actually have a few minutes to post today, so i'm taking advantage of that.  i have a wedding card to share with you today.   i made it using mostly items from the Crate Paper Portrait collection.  i'm playing along with the May Color Challenge on their blog.  Tara Anderson always picks a great color scheme and then makes gorgeous cards and layouts using it.  this month she chose aqua, marigold orange, and marshmallow white.
in friday's post, i talked about wanting to create a card with some layering techniques and this was what i had in mind.  i layered on a bunch of elements like doily and paper scraps, die cuts, tags, buttons, washi tape, and messy thread to create an exciting focal point.
i did the same thing on the lower right of the card, only with fewer elements.  for the sentiment, i made a little white flag tag and stamped "{all you need is love}" on it.  the stamp is from the Fillable Frames #11 mini set from Papertrey Ink.
that's all i have for today.  don't forget about the chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate to my Etsy shop...click here for details.
